The world's first 64-bit Smart Phone
Apple's seventh iPhone is a truly remarkable smart phone. As it's name suggests, it's aesthetic is only incremental from it's predecessor, the iPhone 5 but on the inside it's truly state of the art. Being the first iPhone to have a 64-bit architecture A7 CPU with even faster graphics, it's able to deliver cutting edge performance which is 56x more powerful than the original iPhone from 2007.

In the time that I've had mine I've put it through it's paces and combined with iOS 7, it's a joy to use. The new fingerprint scanner works really well, I made sure to let it learn my print carefully upon setting up to minimise any chances of it not picking up my thumbs perfectly and it works 9 out of 10 times when I unlock my smart phone. Other new features that I made sure to check out were the additions to the functionality of the camera. At 120 frames per second the camera was able to capture slo-mo really well and in my test, I decided to make it interesting by filming a water fountain from a distance and afterwards I admired the beauty of the individual droplets falling mid air.

One other noticeable improvement with the camera is the flash which now has 2 flashes, with one that attempts to ensure optimal white balance. Compared to my iPhone 4 the capture time is far superior and I feel quite happy using this as my everyday camera.

It's phone functionality works as good as you'd expect, the 4G radio works super fast as long as your within a supported area that has the coverage (not that 3G is that slow but 4G can be good for demanding tasks like watching lots of video) and the battery life is wonderful. Most days the battery still can have up to 40% left even after using the internet for a fair amount all day long.

For anybody with an iPhone 4S or older, I highly recommend you this iPhone as it's a really good upgrade and it's really fast and compliments iOS 7 really nicely. It allows you to unlock your phone/enter in your Apple I.D password in a whole new way using your finger print. The gold model really does feel luxurious to use.
