Have you been to the Invisible Light Garden at ArtPlay - Birrarung Marr, behind Federation Square (corner Swanston and Flinders Street) in the city yet? This event which has been going since the 8th of February 2017 was created by Mosster Studio, and it's suitable for children aged 4 to 12 years and accompanied by an adult. Don't miss out, as no doubt the kids are going to love this fun element of gardening in an interactive magical light garden.
This is a free event that requires no booking and will be running till the 26th of March 2017.
What a great way for technology and consequences to collide. Using light projections and sound, the visitors become gardeners growing a light garden by moving its elements around. It's a magical place of curiosity, playfulness and beauty where you discover how these elements, shaped by your actions, affect each other. The unseen bonds between every moved item will become visible and give up its hidden secrets.
This is part of ArtPlay's New Ideas Lab program, where artists are supported to create new work with children and families. ArtPlay is a place where children from babies to 12 year olds can explore their creativity and share unique artistic experiences with professional artists. With more than 300 workshops, events and performances every year, be sure to keep an eye on their website and Facebook page to stay in the know.
Collaborating with Mosster Studio is just kinda perfect, as Mosster create awesome interactive designs made for kids and get these little people thinking by questioning and challenging the ways of the world.
