If you have ever wanted a white bunny as a child, or simply adore the white rabbit from Alice In Wonderland, then here is your chance to get up close and personal with six seven-metre tall bunnies. These giant inflatable, luminous white bunnies make their debut this Friday at Eagle Street Pier.
In a first for Brisbane, Tasmanian artist Amanda Parer from her own art studio Parer Studio, will showcase her world-famous Intrude artwork installation. These super gigantic bunnies are her latest work and have been travelling around the nation and globe. Next stop America, for these super cute bunnies to stamp in their passport.
The installation is aimed to raise environmental awareness of the rabbit as a pest to our wildlife and native plants and begs the question of what impact do we have on nature. Environmental art or eco-art is lately making strides with the general public and what better way to support a local artist and a much needed national environmental cause. To support Amanda and raise awareness, check out these amazing installations this Friday from 12pm to 9pm at Eagle Street Pier. The installation is on display daily from 12pm to 9pm until the 29th March.
