The first of a series of short courses organised by the Botanic Gardens and State Herbarium of South Australia, Introduction to Plant Science course held on Tuesday 21 January 2020 from 5.30pm to 7.30pm at the Adelaide Botanic Garden is great for those that feel a bit confused about how plants work and interact with the environment.

This course will teach you about the basic plant components, which include roots, stems, leaves, flowers and fruits, and the fundamental chemistry behind how plants function. Also covered during the course are the relationships between form and function, and the processes which allow them to thrive.
