Lee Koffman’s writing workshops are in high demand so you’ll want to book early for Introduction to Narrative Non-fiction It’s free but you need a ticket to reserve your spot on this two-hour online workshop sponsored by Queensland Writers Centre and hosted by Moreton Bay Region Libraries.


WHAT YOU WILL LEARN Nonfiction writing is about truth, but truth does not have to be dryly written. Lee will share tips and techniques for making the author into a character, for writing vivid non-fiction, for developing an engaging narrative, and for incorporating research into your non-fiction pieces. This free workshop is for adults interested in all genres of non-fiction including memoir, personal essay, investigative journalism, crime, and travel writing.

LEE KOFMAN is the author of The Writer Laid Bare, a guide to writing and emotional honesty. The book combines memoir with a professional writing toolkit in which Lee Kofman offers practical advice on drafts, edits and how to achieve a life/writing balance.


LEE KOFMAN’S WRITINGS:

Lee is a Russian-born, Israeli-Australian based in Melbourne. She has published a number of novels and her short stories, short creative non-fiction and poetry have been published widely in Australia, Scotland, UK, Israel, USA and Canada.
