Hosted by Photography Instructor James Wilson

Our friends at the Perth Photography Group are running a special Introduction to Cyanotype Class on the 8th May at Mudita Gallery! Book your spot today at Places are strictly limited.

Cyanotype is a photographic printing process invented by astronomer Sir John Herschel in 1842. It is a simple process that produces a cyan-blue print.

In this introductory class, presented by James Wilson, you'll learn to sensitise paper, then go out and take photos with the Galley Director around the CBD.

You'll then prepare negatives for contact printing, be shown how to test print - which applies to any "wet" photographic process and then process that test print. The possibilities of what can be created using this process are only limited by your imagination!

The fee for this 6-hour workshop is $180pp. Refreshments are included, plus you will receive a comprehensive take-home kit, so you can continue developing your skills at home.

Book your spot today at Only 8 places are left and early bookings are encouraged.

I had no idea what cyanotype was. Now I do. sounds like a good class to learn more.
