Event: -

This exhibition will feature the work of 56 women photographers from a variety of backgrounds. This spectacular occasion brings together Victorian Photography Club members, historical photographers, emerging artists and even gives the public a chance to see work from professional and award-winning photographers.

Enjoy the work of world-renowned landscape photographers Mieke Boynton and Rosemary Oldis as well as an expertly curated collection of portraits and travel photography. This exhibition features a plethora of genres and creates an impressively striking salute to the female artists, their interests and extensive talent.

It is an opportunity to celebrate their vision and stories behind each piece. Photography as an art form is well known as a male-dominated field but The Melbourne Camera Club is proud to support the 2018 International Women's Day with this celebratory event.

The Opening Night of the exhibition (March 1st, 8 pm) will include special guest speakers: Mieke Boynton and Vicki Bell, a Fine Art Portrait Photographer. The official opening will be conducted by Deborah Glass OBE, our Victorian State Ombudsman.

The exhibition will be open most weekends in March and is completely open to the public. Join other photography lovers and celebrate Women in Photography.

March 10th, 11th, 12th and March 17th, 18th.
