Event:
You won’t be alone because you’ll be running with your heart

Come and join the Mater Chicks in Pink as they gather together more than 12,000 women and men for the 2018 RACQ International Women's Day Fun Run. Don't miss your chance to join in the biggest, boldest, brightest symbol of support for every woman with breast cancer and help fund tangible and timely care and encouragement for these women as they take their breast cancer journeys.

Join in the Sea of Pink formed to celebrate and honour the women who have fought or are fighting breast cancer. This massive Brisbane event has become the most popular women's running event in Australia and is an incredible experience – very moving, very positive and very inspiring. It's an opportunity for you to feel good while you are doing something priceless for many members of our community.

The Mater Foundation's target from this event is to raise $620,000 so the organisation can continue to fund vital support services for women with breast cancer and the life-saving breast cancer research conducted at the Mater. To achieve this target registration fees need to be augmented with additional funds and you can help. In fact, even if you don't want to run or walk you can help raise some much needed funds. Follow this link and start your fundraising whether you are taking part on the day or just want to support a very worthy cause.
