If you love roses, then you have to visit the international rose garden in the Adelaide Botanical Garden. The roses are in full bloom now. They are spectacular and you will not be disappointed. There are rows and rows of roses as far as the eye can see. There are the traditional roses, climbing roses including Heritage and Australian bred roses. There are roses named after royalties and celebrities, roses selected for special Australian causes like The Children's Rose, The Olympic Gold Rose, etc. It's not only an amazing sight to behold, but the scent was sweet to the nose.
The Adelaide Botanical opens daily and is easily accessible by the free tram or for the energetic it is only a short walk from the city centre.
