May 6th, 2012 marks International Permaculture Day with events scheduled across the globe. From Oslo to Mexico, people around the world will participate in fun filled activities sharing the wonders of self sufficiency.

Join the worldwide Permaculture Celebration and learn all about sustainable living and gardening. In Brisbane, several interesting tours are open to the public.

Northey St City Farm, Windsor

Northey St City Farm Tours: Northey Street, Windsor - 8.30am and 10am. Watch a demonstration or join a tour of Brisbane's major permaculture hub which also hosts a weekly Sunday Farmer's Market.
Grow your own produce

Edible Streets Tours: 95 Vulture St, West End - 10am. Join the Permablitz team to learn about edible plants in our urban environment - from nature strips to overhanging branches, it's there for the picking.

Beelarong Community Farm Tours: Cnr Beverley and York St, Morningside - 2.30pm and 4pm. Meet the volunteers, enjoy the gardens and learn about Community Permaculture.
