The launch of the International Hawker Festival will take place over the weekend of 7 & 8 October 2023 from 9am to 4pm at QVM's C-D Shed. It's where you'll find the world's best hawker foods all under the one roof. Come along and enjoy these two days of mouth-watering food from around the world, while immersing yourself in street entertainment. You don't want to miss out on this wonderful free event at the iconic Queen Victoria Market , rear 513 Elizabeth St, Melbourne.

Prepare your tastebuds for a culinary adventure, chowing down on foods like Malaysian satay, Portuguese tarts, African BBQ, Japanese ramen, Colombian street food, Maui Polynesian food and so much more. QVM certainly knows how to put on an event, and they do these themed events year-round on top of regular events, so you can be assured you're in good hands if an entertaining day is what you're after.

In other news, QVM will open on the Grand Final Weekend from 29 Sep to 1 Oct, which includes the Friday public holiday. There'll be delicious eats, shopping and roving musical entertainment to look forward to. Other events to look forward to on the last weekend of September, and October is the Youth Market on Sat 30 September, when our next-generation entrepreneurs step up into the limelight. A huge event upcoming is the Melbourne Fringe at Festival Park , smack bang in the heart of Melbourne at QVM from 3-29 Oct. Find the full program here . The weekend of 14 & 15 Oct will be a weekend full of fungi and fun at the Mushroom Festival . Come along and support our Australian mushroom growers.
