Do You Love Chocolate?
International Chocolate Day is held on the 13th September every year to commemorate birthday of Milton Hershey, an American confectioner and founder of The Hershey Chocolate Company. Of course if you think American chocolate is not the bomb then you can celebrate on World Chocolate Day but that is held on the 7 July and marks the date when chocolate was introduced to Europe.
Here is a list of some ideas on how to celebrate all things good about chocolate:
Bake a chocolate cake for your family or co-workers
Make some handmade filled chocolates with moulds from a kitchen shop or Spotlight. This used to be one of my favourite activities as a child.
Book in a chocolate massage (Try Ripple Massage, Brisbane)
Create a chocolate bar of your dreams with Chocolab. To start with you select the type of Belguim chocolate base you want to use – milk, white or dark. Then you can select from hundreds of ingredients to create your own unique personalised bar. You can create your decadent chocolate bar with up to five ingredients like spices, fruit, biscuits, nuts and all your favourite sweets from childhood.
