Postcard Art, Twitter Style
Twitter Art April 7 2018
The Twitter Art Exhibit or #TAE18 (@twitartexhibit) opens on Saturday 7 April @ 2pm. The Guest Speaker is Michael Milton OAM, an Australian Paralympian who represented Australia at the Olympics. Michael Milton is also the Patron of the Riding for the Disabled in the ACT.
#Twitter Art Exhibit is now a regular fixture for charity fundraising. To date, around $50,000 has been raised for charities and non-profit organisations, both in Australia and abroad.
This exhibition showcases original artwork designed in a postcard size. All the artists have donated their original works and the proceeds go directly to the Pegasus Riding for the Disabled in the ACT.
You will see a range of artwork on the postcards by career artists and emerging artists. This year's exhibit includes artists from 63 countries. There will be over 680 postcards to choose from in a huge range of diverse styles.
Ms Jane Thompson, the Chief Executive Officer of Pegasus Riding for the Disabled, stated that all proceeds from this excellent Art exhibition will go towards therapeutic horse-facilitated programs and scholarships for riders living in both the ACT and local NSW region.
