Sydney has been paving the way for Australia in hosting international brands especially with the newly developed Westfield Sydney at the cnr of Pitt Street Mall and Market Street.
Zara, Nespresso and Gap are just some of the international brands that have graced our shores in the last 12 months and more are making their way here slowly but surely to give our local brands the competitive edge.
Topshop and Topman have already secured a prime spot in the Gowings Building at 45 Market Street, with plans to unveil their stores in October this year.
Laduree, the luxury French patisserie made famous by their decadent macarons will be opening their first store in Westfield Sydney with a scheduled launch date in September so keep your eyes peeled for some amazing desserts coming our way.
Some other international brands that have their eye on the Sydney market include Uniqlo from Japan, Forever 21, Abercrombrie & Fitch and H&M, with rumours that it could happen next year or the year after.
