Each year, Gladstone Saiki Sister City Advisory Committee invites photographers of the Gladstone Region to capture the spirit of Central Queensland's lifestyle, people, and environment. Intercity Images is an annual cultural exchange between the citizens of the Gladstone Region and Saiki City, Japan, to celebrate the unique lifestyle, people and environment of the two Sister Cities.

You can enter this competition with your memorable image of the Gladstone Region within the last 12 months. The call for 2023 entries will be open from Monday, 27 February until Saturday, 8 April 2023. Selected images will be displayed at the Gladstone Regional Art Gallery and Museum from 1 May to 11 June 2023, as part of the Intercity Images Annual Photographic Exchange competition.
