This is the first time I've been back to Giant Steps since they have renovated and the place now has a dark sophisticated interior with a cool vibe! A perfect place to unwind after work! The restaurant / winebar was called Innocent Bystander after the wines.
New menu consists of small bites ranging from Mojama which is wind dried tuna to Pumpkin arancini with lemon. The bigger bites are paired with their highly expressive wines. I decided on the Wood-roasted cauliflower, currant and almond salad, which was refreshing and light. Each dish comes out with a bowl of sourdough bread and creamy butter!
Wednesday is Pizza night from 6pm onwards, where they are cooked to perfection within 90 seconds from the new wood fired oven. Using 100% organic sourdough bases and local seasonal produce.
Giant Steps winery and cellar door is open every day from 11am till late. Weekends from 9am till late.
