Casual brunch-er. Serial skincare addict.
One of Korea's best known beauty brands is finally arriving in Australia, and it's none than the famed Innisfree! The brand started in 2000 and is well known for sourcing their ingredients from the pristine Jeju Island in Korea. They strive to create products that are backed by research and development, filled with natural ingredients that are responsibly derived and stored in eco-friendly packaging that is kind to the earth. This is reflected in their brand logo.

Melbourne is lucky enough to be home to their first Australian brick-and-mortar store. You may have already seen the signs that they'll be opening right next to Sephora in Melbourne Central. Just recently, they posted a sneak peek of the store interior!

One of their most popular product lines is their Green Tea skincare line. Did you know that the brand has their own green tea plantation on Jeju Island to ensure that their ingredients are organic and good quality? Personally, I've tried their Green Tea Moisture Toner and although it had a strong scent to it, it was extremely hydrating and I would apply multiple layers during the winter time to keep my skin looking supple. I'm excited to try out the rest of their skincare ranges in store.

To celebrate their opening, Innisfree is throwing a party out the front of the shop from 8am. There will be opportunities to score free gifts before the doors officially open at 10am. From then on, the first 100 people who purchase over $50 of goods will receive special gifts including a tote bag, a trial kit of their best selling products and vouchers to collect a free product every month, for 6 months.

My suggestion for getting ready for the store opening (other than multiple alarms) is to sign up for their loyalty program on That means you're all set to start earning points from your first shop, which you can use as credit for later shops. Since establishing their bottle recycling campaign in 2003, Innisfree has recycled over 12,000,000 bottles. The same will apply for the Melbourne store and you'll actually be rewarded with $0.50 credit for every bottle you return to the store. Win-win!
