Do you believe in alternative therapies and naturopathy? Do you believe in a New Age approach to healthy living and lifestyles? Do you believe that there is a spiritual life beyond the one that we are living in, and that there are people who are able to access that realm through psychic means?
Even if you are not fully convinced that all of the above questions can be legitimately answered, there are plenty of people who do believe it, and you'll more than likely find them attending the 8th Annual Inner Peace Festival in Geelong on Sunday 20th May 2012 (from 9am to 5pm).
These are just some of the things you can learn about at the festival
Held for the first time at the Vines Road Community Centre, in the Geelong suburb of Hamlyn Heights, the Inner Peace Festival promises to provide visitors with a variety of holistic and spiritual alternatives from retailers and practitioners. There will be over seventy stall-holders from all over the Geelong region, as well as some from interstate, who will impart their knowledge and services to all those interested.
You will have the opportunity to learn all about various topics and practices, including massage, reflexology, astrology, tarot and naturopathy. There will also be crystals for sale, as well as aura photography, clothing, spiritual gifts, medicinal herbs and a variety of other, difficult-to-get items. For those interested, there will be demonstrations and talks about alternative healing and therapy, and plenty of opportunities to have your palm read by experienced psychics.
The Visionary Foundation (a Geelong-based committee who recognise New Age specialists, and spiritual and holistic alternatives) have been running the event since May 2005, and with over seven hundred people attending the last Festival, there are high hopes that the event will continue to attract a strong following.
