I'm a qualified UK lawyer, who emigrated to Australia in May 2012. I have three small children and we've been getting to know Brisbane and making it our home.

Inna Bliss comes to Bulimba
Inna Bliss Yoga opened the doors to its new studio in Bulimba on Monday, 19 August 2013. I went along to the mums and bubs yoga and was pleasantly surprised by how much we achieved and what a good session we had with bubs in tow.
The studio itself is large and airy with a lovely feel to it. Heidi took our class and took the time to assess each mother's needs. She happily stepped in to help out with any bubs who needed to be held or retrieved (for the ones on the move). She kept reinforcing that it was our session to enjoy and was intended to be relaxed. Relaxing it was and set at just the right pace, even for my stiff, tired body after having had my second child 7 weeks ago.
My tiny man and I relaxed and enjoyed each others company for a blissful hour and it felt like a real privilege.
In the entrance you will find a selection of waters laced with fresh fruit and a plate of delicious fruit to munch on, which you are encouraged to help yourself to. The staff are friendly and helpful, offering to help mums carry pushchairs down the stairs to get out. That's possibly the only down side, no easy access with prams.
There is currently an introductory offer of 10 days of unlimited classes for $19, which is an absolute bargain and I intend to try as many of the classes as I can to see what works for me. There is also a kids class (3-5 years) on a Friday morning, which I will be taking my little man to. Let's hope it fills him with inner calm and peace!
You can bring your own yoga at or hire one for $2 per use; hire is free during the introductory period.
There is a 6 week beginners course for those new to yoga. Most classes are open to all abilities unless stated otherwise.
Inna Bliss already has studios in Camp Hill and Wynnum and I think it is just what Bulimba needed. I will certainly be enjoying this wonderful addition to the area.
