Local ten-piece band perform folk music
Gorgeous five-part vocal harmonies are accompanied by cello and violin, with the usual band suspects, guitar, bass and drums, this band produces rich, warm sounds.
Formed in 2010, Inland Sea have recently toured the UK and Australia's East Coast this year, and released a 7 inch vinyl edition of their single "Words Are Circles" with the b-side track "Pretty Blue Fox". I love it when bands release vinyl. You can purchase this, and more, online here.
Whilst I haven't yet seen the entire band play live, I did catch Jack Gleeson perform at The Round and was blown away by his intensity and the diversity in his performance. I can only imagine what it would be like when he is joined by the remaining nine members of Inland Sea.
You can like them on Facebook here and check out their website here.
