There's a new place in Adelaide set to blow you away. Inflatable world is here for all the fun you can handle in two hours. Starting at just $7pp, this new cushiony adventure playground is sure to appeal to all ages. From bouncy castles to velcro walls, there is plenty to do. Just out of the Adelaide CBD, you'll find Inflatable World located in Salisbury South where it is open from 10am - 4pm during school holidays and weekends. This place is bursting with activities, so why not check it out?
There are a range of obstacles and activities in the huge space - all inflatable of course. They include a block climbing wall, giant slides, tunnels and large air pillows. For the more exhilarating activities you can done a special velcro suit and fling yourself (or a friend) at a wall or have a go at the gladiator style hammers and see who is the last one standing. Why not see if you can balance on the oversized bouncy balls or play a round of inflatable basketball?
Inflatable World has locations all over Australia, but only opened its doors in Adelaide on 11 April 2015. It has been an extremely popular family activity over the past couple of weeks, so if you are looking to avoid the crowds it is usually quieter between 2 and 4pm. While children under 4 are $7, all adults and children 5 and over are $14 each. There is a dedicated corner for the little ones, and spectators are free if you do not wish to participate.
To keep costs down, birthday parties are available for just $180 which include entry for 12 children and 4 adults for 90 minutes in a designated party area with catering options from $5/head. Or, why not book out the entire venue for exclusive use on a Saturday for up to 100 people, 2 hours of play time for just $900 - now that could make for an interesting 21st, 30th or 80th!
We recommend to make sure you bring along a pair of socks, as you need to wearing them at all times or you aren't allowed on the inflatables. If you do forget, socks are available for $2.50 each. It's also recommended not to wear any jewellery or accessories that can be damaged or injure you if they get caught or you land awkwardly. Children under 12 must also have a parent or guardian with them. Some hot food is available at the venue, as well as soft drink and juices. If you want to save money, you are allowed to bring your own snacks. Car parking is available on site and the place is actually located in Brahma Lodge Indoor Sports Centre, opposite Bowland.
Inflatable World is a great incentive to keep kids (and adults) active. It gives everyone a chance to have fun while exercising without even realising it. We recommend coming as a group to help with some of the more difficult obstacles or if you want to get involved in the many games available throughout the centre. Tickets aren't available online yet, so grab them at the door before you hop in. Now is your excuse to take the kids along so you can have fun too.
