Inflatable World is an indoor playground of inflatable fun for all ages. They are "popping up" all over Australia so check out the website for the stadium nearest you.

We visited the recently opened stadium in Liverpool during the school holidays. It is located within Sportsworld Liverpool. There are two play areas - a main arena and another area for the under 5's.

In the main arena there were five courses to enjoy:

Gladiator Arena - try to knock your friends (or enemies) off their spots while you keep balance on your own. Who will be the last person standing?

Horizontal Bungee - your vest is attached to a rope and you must run as far as you can along the track and attach your baton to the velcro strip along the top of the track. There are three lanes so challenge your friends to see who can get the furthest

Obstacle Course - can you make it through the obstacle course and slide down the other end?

Big Slide - Do you dare jump off the cliff on to the big cushion or will you take your chances on the slide?

Balance Pad - test your balance on this obstacle. Grab some friends for extra fun

Unfortunately I can't tell you as much about the Under 5's play area as my children are older and stayed in the main arena. However I can show you photos of the equipment in the hope that will give you some idea of what is available. The Under 5's section consists of 4 courses:

My Little Farm

**
Pirate Ship course**

Small slide

**Smurfs cave and slide
**

Like most indoor play centres socks must be worn on all of the courses. My kids enjoyed their session and especially liked the horizontal bungee and obstacle course.

I found the centre to be well organised and the play areas to be well supervised by Inflatable World staff. As the centre got busier later in the morning the staff were limiting the number of people on the obstacles to ensure a safer play environment. You pay for a 2 hour session and are given a colour coded wrist band. There were announcements made when the time was up for each coloured wrist band.

Spectators are allowed in the play areas to watch, supervise and take photos of their children. There are chairs outside the play area, but not enough for all the spectators on the busy day we were there. Hot food and drinks are available as well as chips & lollies but there were no tables to sit at if you wanted to have something to eat and drink during your session. The toilets were well equipped and clean.

is located in a factory complex along Hoxton Park Road. While there is a free car park, spaces are limited and it does fill up quickly .

is open on weekends from 9am - 6pm. During the school holidays it is open on weekdays from 9am - 4pm. No bookings are required and there are no waivers to sign, you can just turn up on the day. The 2 hour session costs $15 for participants 5 years and over. For children 4 years and under it is $8. Spectators are free.

Inflatable World is not just for kids, adults are invited to play too. They also offer group bookings for birthdays, team building or other functions. For more information head to the website.

So next time you have extra energy to burn, head to Inflatable World.
