What do you think when you see the words "online", "collaborative" and "project" in the same sentence? Depending on your experience you might respond with ecstatic excitement. On the other hand you might want to turn on your heel and run a mile.
Never fear, you're not being asked to be directly involved in this one, just to enjoy the fruits of others labour. This is your opportunity to see an example of a collaborative online arts project which has worked successfully for the past few years and achieved excellent results.
The free Indoor Laneway Exhibition at the Arts Centre will run from the 17th of September until the 14th of October. It is the culmination of work by senior secondary students from around Victoria who will alongside curator and media artist Eugenia Lim on a variety of Make and Create Tasks during Term 3.
The project allows students to operate as an artist in a safe and supported online environment so that they can produce their own art, share ideas with others around Victoria and receive real-time artist feedback.
