Located within the newly opened District Outlet Centre at Parafield, Indii Street Food is where you can enjoy Indian cuisine from the same owners as
Indii Flavours in North Adelaide. As its name suggests, the menu at Indii Street Food focuses more on street food-style dishes.
The Aloo Chaat featured chunks of potato that still retained a bit of texture with a bit of crispiness on the exterior. The amount of mint sauce and yoghurt sauce was not too excessive and gave the dish a refreshing flavour. Deep-fried pieces of dough topped the dish to provide a bit of crunch.

Their Chicken Biryani had light and fluffy rice and the degree of spiciness of the dish should be suitable for most tastes. While not apparent from a first glance, the chunks of chicken were of a good size and cooked just right. Raita came with the dish for those wishing to soothe the spiciness of the dish.

A surprising offering at the store were pies with Indian cuisine fillings. The pies can be requested to be heated up if you desire to eat them there. The lamb in the Rogan Josh Pie was very tender and the spices ensured it did not taste too lamby. The pastry was crisp and flaky and the size of the pie was very generous.

Another of the pies offered, the filling of the Butter Chicken Pie had a sweeter flavour and the chunks of chicken still retained a bit of texture. The presentation of the pie was completed with a light sprinkling of poppy seeds which added extra flavour.

Their Chicken Tikka was succulent and cooked sufficiently to give them a charred flavour. For those concerned about their spiciness, it was not too hot. The chicken came with mint sauce that complemented the spiced taste of the chicken nicely.

Compared to the Chicken Tikka, the spiced taste of the Amritsari Fish was slightly milder. The fish was fried sufficiently to give them a golden-brown colour. It came with a different type of mint sauce from that of the Chicken Tikka. This mint sauce had an herbier flavour. Accompanying the fish were sliced red onions and a lemon wedge.

While we thought the Vegetable Pocket could do with more filling, the filling was not too soft and the degree of heat was suitable for those not used to spicy foods. The pastry encasing the filling was crisp and light and cooked sufficiently to give it a nice golden-brown colour. Served with the dish was tomato sauce.

Seating space for the store is available within the food court but be aware it gets crowded during the peak lunch hour. Its location provides a convenient place for those desiring Indian cuisine before or after they are done shopping.
