Dale Harding's exhibition, String Theory is currently touring Australia with it's next stop being The Caboolture Regional Art Gallery. He is a descendant of the Bidjara and Ghungalu peoples of Central Queensland and his artworks feature found objects which represent his family and their forced domestic service in a earlier time in Australia's history. He has based his story-telling from first-hand accounts of his Elders' experiences in his birth-town of Woorabinda and objects for the exhibition grew out conversations specifically with his grandmother and mother.

This is an innovative and unique approach to fibre art but also includes painting, sculpture, photography and video. Dale's artworks showcase his sensitive understanding of the subject matter but also his proficiency and experience. He has recently completed a Bachelor of Contemporary Australian Indigenous Art with Honours and is going on this year to complete a PhD at the Queensland College of Arts.
