A gem of the Northern suburbs, the Indian Ocean Brewhaus and Grill - or the Indi- is nestled in a discreet marina in Mindarie (about a half an hour/forty-five minute drive from the city). If you do find yourself in the north, make sure you head down for a beer and a pizza. There are pasta, pizza and burger specials all throughout the week. However, for those of you unafraid to splurge, I would suggest going for seafood. You don't get much closer to the water than eating at the Indi.
It's open everyday of the week, until late, so there is no excuse for you lazy bodies not to get down there and enjoy a meal. Best thing about the Indi? Their signature range of ales brewed by on-site Head Brewer, Mark Cocks. You won't be able to stop at one pint, I assure you.
