Come one, come all to The India Day Fair in the park
Celebrate India, all things Indian and the Indian Independence Day.
The Federation of Indian Associations of New South Wales (FIAN) will be hosting their annual India Day Fair on August 10, 2019 to celebrate Indian culture, the Indian Independence Day and multiculturalism in Australia. The venue at Parramatta Park is set to buzz with vibrant Indian culture, delicious food, catchy music, gorgeous fashion and other business stalls topped off with fireworks to celebrate the India Day Fair.
President of FIAN Dr Yadu Singh says that this event is set to be bigger and more fun with more guests set to attend the celebrations at Parramatta Park (Car Park area, next to Parramatta Stadium off O'Connell Street) throughout the day.
The India Day fair is an important event on Sydney's multicultural calendar. Hosts, FIAN in Sydney, invite you, your family and friends to go along to the Parkland, on Saturday 10 August, for a non-stop celebration of all things Indian. The fair will be a multicultural family-friendly fun day full of entertainment, with FREE ENTRY kicking off at 12 pm and finishing at 9.00 pm. The event will be full of colour and spectacle. Highlights include Indian culture and art, beautiful Bollywood dancers, delicious food trucks for your fill of Indian Food, arts and craft cultural stalls, live local and overseas traditional Indian performers, fireworks display (not to be missed), lots of children's activities and games.
