Incube.8r is a retail store that sells a range of handmade products and was created with the purpose of giving local artists and designers a place to showcase their wares. The store is divided into glass cubes, with goods displayed within (so the products are 'in cube' – geddit?!) Each store can hold up to ninety different displays.

The first incube.8r store opened in Melbourne in 2007. The business now has three stores nationally, in Melbourne (321 Smith Street, Fitzroy), Sydney (shop 7, 3-5 Myahgah Mews, Mosman) and Brisbane (368 Brunswick Street).

Incube.8r runs like a permanent, indoors market. The selection of fashion, jewellery, home wares, paper crafts and accessories is unique, so for a special present or a one of a kind statement piece, incube.8r is a good place to start. There are no commission fees on the pieces in store, so when you purchase something from incube.8r, the artists receives 100% of the price.

Anyone with a talent for creating hand crafted items can rent a cube from this store – you don't have to live in Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne. The spaces can be rented for as little as $21.00 a week and that price includes the lockable glass case, insurance and inclusion in all incube.8r advertising.
