ARC ONE Gallery is hosting a free exhibition that explores the themes of new abstraction. Entitled "In the White Square", it is curated by Laura Lantieri and showcases the works of five Australian contemporary artists who use abstraction as a primary visual language. They include Robert Owen, Jacky Redgate, Lydia Wegner, Caleb Shea and Gemma Smith. You can view works of sculpture and photobased media that emphasize colour, form, space, light, optics and geometry. The opening reception will be held on 10 December from 4pm to 6pm.
