I like to participate in life rather than be a spectator. Music, dancing, theatre, travelling, food, cycling and walking are some of my passions. Writing is an enjoyable pastime that allows me to share my experiences.

We All Need to Dance to a Different Tune
In Difference is a collaboration between FORM Dance Projects and Riverside Theatres.

The concept, direction and performance by Craig Bary of In Difference is emotional and deeply personal. and the intimacy of the Lennox Theatre aided the audience engagement. In difference lasted 60 powerful minutes and took us on an incredible journey through light and shade, joy and despair. Eden Mulholland's music was lyrical with a strong beat that was matched by the fluid but controlled movements of the dancers.

In silence, two seated men face each other, as the silence grows the audience is drawn into their emotions. We sense despair and deep yearnings. Walls and doorways shift in the darkness hiding and revealing characters and action. This is a strong dramatic piece full of love, drama, confrontation and the beauty of body form and movement.

Dance, drama, agony, love, strength

The performances of Craig Bary, Kristina Chan, Timothy Ohl and Joshua Thomson demonstrate a deep commitment to the project and ultimate trust in each other.

Love takes many forms and means different things to different people, but ultimately there should be equality in love.
