Stacy Gardoll's latest art exhibition, 'In Bloom' is showing at Ellis House from 13 February to 1 March. Entry is FREE.
Featuring original paintings and prints, 'In Bloom' is a stunning exploration of the botanical world.
The subjects of the display are primarily flowers, with a large percentage made up of flora native to Western Australia.
Each bloom is sensitively rendered in Oil, with a special emphasis on the way each form captures light, with delicacy and drama.
This heightened sense of drama, and saturated use of colour, comes directly from Stacy's career as a Theatre Designer and Scenic Artist.
Through this exhibition, Stacy is planning to highlight the beauty of each bloom, and present it in a new, exciting way. She believes that many of our memories and associations are linked to the natural world, and we are often transported to another time and place by contemplating these images, unencumbered by the busy-ness of everyday life.
Come and discover 'In Bloom' at Ellis House. The exhibition will be open to the public from 13 February to 1 March, with an Official Opening on 16 February, 3pm- 5pm.
The showcase includes Oil Paintings, Limited Edition Reproduction Prints (both framed and unframed), as well as a full range of greeting cards produced from her paintings.
