If you're in town near Federation Square and need a hot chocolate or coffee, this is the place to stop. My daughter said they make the best hot chocolate she's ever had. They sell European hot chocolate including chilli, hazelnut, raspberry and mint.

I will remember In a Rush café because of the tiny sparrows flying around the tables that perched very close to us. The undercover outdoor seats are perfect all year round.

has several locations but we frequent the one at Federation Square. This is right near the galleries and much free entertainment, so it's a perfect place to meet and greet friends and family.

Ironically, despite the name, they are not the fastest coffee makers, but then again, they are usually quite busy and make a damn good cuppa.

I confess with some regret that we have never eaten food there but we have admired it many times. If you're looking for something hot and nutritious, they have a number of healthy options like vegetarian lentils, soups and hearty stews. They also have a host of fabulous looking enormous sandwiches, roti wraps, paninis and salads. They sell an egg and bacon muffin for an unbelievable $2.50 and they are now fully licensed.

In A Rush originated from the belief that fast food truly can be both delicious and healthy. They started in a small, bustling cafe in one of Melbourne's most iconic laneways, run by George Paraskevopoulos, Ali Aziz and their team. Their menu has quickly become popular for its wholesome Middle Eastern and Mediterranean meals.

In A Rush is now a thriving family of stores with an eclectic and exciting menu. Situated in the heart of Melbourne's CBD their commercial kitchen is operated by professional chefs.
