If you are a parent like me, you probably are racking your brain right now trying to come up with ideas, new, original, brilliant, left or right off centre ideas on what to do with your young ones during these school holidays. Mind you, they are here, the holidays I mean. Yes, car parks and trains are more spacious but kids are stuck at home and are driving us, poor parents, crazy by now.

Hurray, there is a solution, one of many, I know. Melbourne Comedy Festival is still reigning in the city. They have plenty of shows and events to cater to all tastes and even ages. The Festival has a special Kids section. One of the shows for young ones this year is** .
**

Comedy besties Ben and Cassie are back with another improvised guide to help navigate those awkward years the best way possible: by laughing at other people. This year it's all about friendship. Friends. You know, those people you're thrown together with who don't annoy you as much as your family does. The ones who lend you things, borrow your money, listen to you complain, share food with you and have something really important to tell you right now and no it CAN'T WAIT.

Improvilicious is the show you can definitely take your kids to, rather, it is a show kids can take their parents too.

I took my teenage daughter and, to tell you the truth, I loved it more than she did. I loved making noise, screaming out suggestions and ideas at the top of my voice, watching kids from the audience participating in the show on stage, it was all a blast.

Ben and Cassie are doing their best to get everyone involved. The show will be as funny and as interesting as the audience can make it. It is all about best friends, who they are, how to meet them and how to keep them. Kids will be taken through 6 different stages of friendship and they will look, sound and feel different in every show.

Come for one show or come back again with more friends for the next one.

Improvilicios runs all throughout school holidays. It is only an hour but what hour it is. Plus, afterwards, you can see your face on Instagram, you can tag the show or your friends. Well, your kids or yourself can become a star of the moment or for a moment. What a joy, don't you think?

All in all, this show worth the trip to the city. Tickets are at human prices and won't break the bank (Adult $19.90, Kids/Concession $15.50). The times are every day at 12.30 to 1.30. Be prepared to scream, shout, laugh and raise your hand.
