If you've ever watched Whose Line is it Anyway? then you have seen the talent of improvisers in action and the fun that goes into watching them inventing stories on their feet, right in front of your eyes. Will it all fall flat, or will they manage to keep all the balls in the air and end up with a satisfying - though generally a little crazy - story?

As part of the Comedy Festival and over the school holidays, Impro Melbourne brings to you The Fairytale Cookbook , a sort of choose your own adventure story that is guaranteed to never be repeated two days in a row. "Open the cookbook, choose your ingredients, and let us whip you up an improvised fairytale you've never seen before. Start with a Hero, add a splash of Pirate, or spice it up with a Witch... the choice is yours," their website says.

Running every day until Sunday, 14 April 2013 at 2pm at the Powder Room at the Melbourne Town Hall, Impro Melbourne's show is for kids of all ages.
