Bloom Entertainment by Design and Melbourne Events are hosting their NEW fortnightly interview sessions IMPACTCHAT via Zoom with some amazing, inspirational speakers as per images. Events for the month of August and September 2020 from 7.30-8.30pm are as follows.

19 Aug - Lahra Carey
2 Sep - Mark Balla
30 Sep - Bram Presser

All events are FREE however you are encouraged to DONATE. Donations to Impact would be greatly appreciated. You'll find the Zoom ID and passcode on each individual event page.

Alex Kats will be guiding the interviews and you're encouraged to pop your questions on the event page of the event you'd like to attend or post them in the chatbox on the night. The first interview is with Lahra Carey, former ABC journalist and now a PR and Communications expert. Sharing stories from the 1980s newsrooms, you never know what's going to pop up in the conversation. Mark Balla aka the Toilet Warrior established Operation Toilets - We Can't Wait. Hear about the flow on ripple effects this humanitarian journey has initiated.

Senator Lidia Thorpe a Gunnai and Gunditjmara mother and grandmother living on Wurundjei country is up next as the 4th event in the lineup of 5. From bankruptcy and domestic violence, Lidia went on to hold a significant position in both the Victorian and Federal Parliament. Bram Presser is the last conversation in September. A semi-reformed punk rocker and more, this ex-band member renown for screaming into chickens is recognised more for his writing, both nationally and internationally.
