One of the best things we did on the Christmas holidays was head to northern New South Wales for a holiday near the seaside hamlet of Iluka. Among lots of other fun, beachy things, my sons enjoyed fishing with their dad.

On this particular night, they caught a couple of fish and got to be part of a spectacular sunset.

If you want your kids to have the experience of fishing but can't get out of the city, see my article on 'Catch-and-Release Fishing for Kids', elsewhere on Weekend Notes.
