Ikkoryu Fukuoka Ramen on Russell

From the outside Ikkoryu doesn't look like its very busy. But head down the stairs on any given weeknight, you will find that the place is filled. It's quite plush on the inside, but don't let looks deceive you. It looks fancy and the food is delicious.



I went with a friend, and we got to choose where we sat. We sat against the wall with lovely pictures and in close proximity to the toilet. (Although the toilets were down a much longer tinier hallway).



We had salad, chicken katsu and beef tataki, and it was scrumptious. The chicken katsu was super crisp, and the curry sauce reminded me of my Japanese mum's.



They are also famous for their Ramen (hence the name). So we'll be back for that.
