I don't know if it's the influx of do it yourself shows on the TV or a cost saving move to renovate your house, rather than buy a new one, but there's just something about IKEA. And why not? It's an amazing place.
I must confess I am an IKEA enthusiast, always wanting to visit the store, gain redecorating and renovating ideas as well as how to make the most of the limited space in my house.
One of the many kitchens on display and my personal favourite
For South East Queensland residents, the Logan IKEA is a do it yourself furnisher's heaven. Located right next to the Logan Homemaker Centre off motorway exit 23, this IKEA will knock your socks off. With dozens of rooms designed to meet everyone's space and budget needs there is sure to be something inspiring that will make you crave a friendly facelift to your existing home.
The designs aren't the only things that are amazing, but the prices are too. Prices are more than reasonable and the quality of the products is outstanding, with all items flat packed and ready for you to assemble with quick and easy instructions. Some of the IKEA favourites and essentials are even receiving lower prices, saving us all more money at the checkout.
But for further discounts why not do what I did and join up with the IKEA family? It's free and offers exclusive family only discounts on hundreds of products throughout the year.
Being a member of the IKEA family not only gives us the benefit of saving even further, but allows us to donate to charity. Every time you visit an IKEA store and swipe your card, you are donating on behalf of IKEA to numerous charities around the country.
The Logan IKEA is open 7 days a week excluding Christmas, with trading hours varying from Monday to Wednesday; 10:00am - 7:00pm, Thursday and Friday; 10:00am - 9:00pm, and the weekend from 9:00am - 5:00pm.
If you want to see what's new or the products on offer but not make the trip, then check out their website and prices before measuring your space, checking your budgets and getting suitable vehicles for your new furniture.
With the need to renovate and improve our homes becoming more prevalent, why not join the renovating revolution and give your house an amazing face lift?
