When I went to the Abbotsford Convent open day in November last year (2014) I stopped at 'Ignite Minds' who had a stall. It was the quality of the items they were selling that stopped me in my tracks. I couldn't help but pick up and examine all those beautifully made timber toys and marvel at the idea of the part they play in educating the young. This led me to chat to Ujjval Goble who is the CEO. He tells me that it's his partner Joanne who sources the toys, or rather 'interactive equipment' as they prefer to call it, for Dragonfly Toys. They are quality items made in England, Holland, Sweden and even Australia to name a few places.

Nearly 4 years old Dragonfly Toys are an extension of Ignite Minds' training organisation that specialise in day care services supporting childhood learning from birth to 5 years of age. Their programs help build children's communication and language skills while looking at enhancing their social and emotional development in a stimulating environment. The family day care is actually on Abbotsford Convent grounds and Ujjval Goble, the coordinator of Ignite Minds, also runs organisational learning and education management classes, teaching early childhood to adults.

In fact, if you think you have the flair to be a natural teacher and love working with kids, why not consider a career in Family Day Care. You too could be an early childhood educator. Ignite Minds are looking for exceptional people and are offering a unique early childhood education experience held in the heart of the Abbotsford Convent precinct. You can make a difference while getting paid $120 per child, per day, teaching children in your nurturing home environment.

They are currently recruiting for Abbotsford, Fitzroy, Kew, and Northcote. If you want to know more about being part of a professional team, why not have a detailed discussion with Ujjval and call him on 0432 402 396. Working from home while being able to take care of your own family at the same time just might suit you to the ground.
