It's showtime from September 28 to October 5 2013, as the IGA Perth Royal Show again takes over Claremont Showgrounds, and you can have a big day out without spending a fortune.
Start by packing your own food and water - yes, that's totally okay - and help the kids set budgets so they can work out which rides they want to go on and which showbags they want to take home.
First though, be sure to check out all of the free stuff like the family entertainment. This year OzRocketman is going to make a dramatic entrance. Check out the video below to see him in action:
You can also see the Sandman in action. He'll turn five tonnes of sand into various characters including a fire breathing dragon, dolphins and animals using just his hands and a piece of plastic. Join him for free workshops each afternoon.
There's also an acrobatic display by Natural Wings each day outside the Shopping and Lifestyle Pavilion.
It's not everyday you come face to face with a cow or an alpaca, so head to the pavilions to see the animals. You'll also get to cuddle some baby animals and you can see the judging of cats and dogs.

Watch the woodchoppers in action in the Isuzu D-MAX Woodchop Arena and see the sheep shearing demonstrations.
[ADVERT]The Police Pavilion is always always a great interactive experience for kids and this year, they'll got something special up their blues sleeves for us.
Make sure you also head to the Brownes Pavilion and sample some fine WA produce. And if you like what you taste, the Yellow Brick Road trail might be for you. It's just $10 and you can even share that between the whole family because you get to pick up a whole load of free produce along your journey. Click here for more.
If you head to the show later in the day, you'll be able to stay for the free fireworks. They'll explode over the main arena each night.
Tickets for the IGA Perth Royal Show are on sale now and the earlier you get in the more you'll save. Click here for the full list of prices.
