Help shape our city centre's future
Ideas Fiesta

Ideas Fiesta is three weeks of free, fun events taking place at various venues in the city from April 11 to May 3. Brisbane City Council will bring together community, business, and government at these exciting events, aimed at generating new ideas, showcasing design concepts, and stimulating interest in the future of Brisbane's CBD.

Based upon the principles of collaboration, the Ideas Fiesta is an important part of Brisbane City Council's plan for preparing the new City Centre Master Plan. Join in the fun, from laneway parties and live music to street picnics and guided walks, and help shape our city centre's future.

These are just some of the highlights:

Week One

12pm to 2:30pm

Lord Mayor Graham Quirk will officially launch Ideas Fiesta at Brisbane's City Hall.

Friday, April 12
4pm to 10pm

Spencer Lane, off Margaret Street, will come to life with an Arabian Night. Enjoy Middle Eastern music, Moroccan food, mint tea, and Kasbah coolers from the award-winning Urbane Restaurant. Celebrate the laneway's history and share your ideas for the future.

Saturday, April 13
