The International Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Day is a huge deal and is celebrated around the world. This is the biggest event of the year on the Cavalier calendar, and the Melbourne Meet-Up are celebrating on Sunday 26 May 2019 from 2-4pm at Elsternwick Park, in Brighton, meeting at the corner of Head and Foote Street. There's free parking nearby.
Spread the word and share this event. Every Cavalier in Melbourne is welcome, so don't forget to tell your Cavalier friends. The poster above has been created especially so that it can be easily printed out and distributed to your cavalier friends, so go and get yours on their Facebook page.
A gold coin donation per dog would be very much appreciated, with all proceeds going to Cavalier Rescue. There'll be other fundraising events on the day to help the Victorian Rescue team. Enjoy a simple walk around Elsternwick Park, with lots of off-lead romp time and loads of fun. There are a few simple rules to adhere to, such as bringing a poo-bag or two so you can always pick up after your dog. For the safety of your dog, ensure your Cavalier is up-to-date with vaccinations, worming and fleas. You are responsible at all times for the supervision and safety of your dog.
Check the discussion section of the event page for updates and snippets of information. This event will be beaming pics around the world and what a sight it would be to see a whole park full of #ICKCSD bandanas happily running around. They are $10 each and the best part is that $5 (50%) from each bandana sale will be donated to Cavalier Rescue. Orders close 7 days before the event, so ORDER ONLINE now.
Bring families and friends and celebrate the breed on their own special day. Smooch a Pooch or Win a Wag, check for details as aforementioned. If you have any Adelaide friends, share the information below. It's on a different weekend to the Melbourne meet-up, so those inclined, can duck over there and enjoy this event all over again. They're having beer and wine stalls and live entertainment!
