Loves being creative, spontaneous, daring and cheeky, whilst living the life of her dreams. Will be honest to admit to having a drink before noon and getting morning coffee in her pajama's...... occasionally :)

Itchy Knee? Better scratch it.
Okay, my attempt at humour may be meant to tickle your funny bone - Ha, I cracked another one.
Okay, okay seriously, Google 'itchy knee' and not only will you be shown symptoms for the obvious, but also a listing of a Japanese restaurant pronounced 'itchy knee' but spelt 'Ichi Ni' and fabulously located at 12 The Esplanade St Kilda, over looking Port Phillip Bay.
Very cool in every sense, from the mural Japanese art work stretched above the ceiling, to the red coloured booths and tea lights on the tables. It hits the spot for a great dining experience.
I love the open cooking area where you can alternatively sit and face the chefs preparing the awesome fresh sushi and sashimi aswell as other tasty treats. The concept is Japanese tapas, order a bit of this, order a bit of that and yes, the bill might be pricey at the end, but is well worth it.
There is a great selection of Japanese beer and Saki; I chose to drink the Yebisu premium malt beer for $9.50. I prepared my chop sticks for a large sashimi, approximately 20 pieces for $34 and the Yakitori Unagi Eel, 2 pieces for $10. The Chocolate Harumaki dessert, priced at $12, is basically two chocolate spring rolls. Yum. I really enjoyed this, it comes with a scoop of vanilla ice-cream, a very thick caramel sauce scattered with almonds. Check out the website for a full menu list.
Service is quick. Real quick. You order, you get, you eat, you order some more (optional), you pay and your off.
Food was overpriced and not good at all.
Management is unorganised.
Called to make booking, no one ever called back then when i arrived there was no booking under my name, lucky there was a table free.
Many silly people eating the bad food.
Soft Shell fried crab taysted like dirty oil, could not tayst the crab or tempura.
Pork belly was bad, to oily fried bacon would tayst much better and could get 1kg for the same price.
I have been 3 times, 1st time I was told i could only get crappy take away boxes of sushi, this was crap same like most crappy Australian fast Japanese food boxes. 2nd time i went on new years eve everything was grate.
3rd time everything was bad. If a restaurant cant cook good food consistently, they should shut down.
Overpriced because of location, which isnt that pretty, St.Kilda Beach.
