Who needs electricity after reading this cookbook?
Why bake when you can chill? Imagine making delicious, impressive cakes in no time, without turning on the oven! Easy to make ahead and sweetly delicious. You can customize any cake to suit your own individual tastes.
A dome-shaped cake with slices of pound cake to line a bowl and then the bowl is filled with sweetened whipped cream, chocolate and nuts. Lemon zest and brandy give the dessert its Italian flavor.
Raiding The Lunchbox: Using Snack Cakes To Make Spectacular Icebox Desserts
There are many versions of tiramisu that substitute Twinkies for the more traditional. Easier to find in the supermarket than imported Savoiardi. Less expensive too. The author substitutes cream cheese for mascarpone too.
Ice Cream Cakes For Every Taste
Easy And Elegant Terrines
No-Bake, No-Fail Cheesecakes
Cappuccino Crunch Cheesecake
Don't skip the Mocha Sauce! Balances the slightly bitter edge of the espresso in the cheesecake.
Icebox Miniatures: Cupcakes, And Other Little Desserts
Banana Ice Cream Cupcakes With Peanut Frosting

To be honest, the chapters on Ice Cream Cakes For Every Taste and Easy And Elegant Terrines didn't do anything for me. Photographer Duane Winfield did a super job though. Ice Cream Cakes For Every Taste would create a mess. Easy And Elegant Terrines were not all that easy and elegant.
I thought that this book was a solely no-bake, but several recipes did call for an oven for crusts. I think that this should be noted on the front cover. How about you?
What would be my favorite?
Cappuccino Crunch Cheesecake is my favorite as I am an espresso fanatic.
Author Lauren Chattman did a really good job though.
