It's winter soon, so why not go ice skating?
Skating is a great way to get fit, and have a fun night out with friends. There are several options for skating in Melbourne.

Medibank Icehouse

The Medibank Icehouse is located at 105 Pearl River Road in the Docklands. There is also a cafe, change rooms, and a bar at the venue. There are trams to the Docklands, or it is a short walk from the CBD. Parking is also available.

The cost is $25 for adults with skate hire.

The Ice Centre

The Ice Centre is for events, and not for public skating. If you have a birthday party or other function, it is a great venue for you and your friends. Party packages can also include food and drink.

The Ice Centre is at Factory 1, 347-349 Old Geelong Road, Hoppers Crossing. There is a train station at Hoppers Crossing, and also a bus stop.

Olympic Ice Skating Centre

This ice skating rink is at 1080 Centre Road in Oakleigh South. Adults are $21, and includes skate hire.

There is a bus stop there, and free parking nearby.
