The exhibition shows four new kinetic sculptures created by Australian artist Ian Burns : anywhere and here, Quest, Movement Image and strange cloud above. Each sculpture encompasses closed-circuit cameras to create live video footage inside the gallery.
The works are both creative and inventive, combining moving image and sculpture. Many of the pieces use domestic items you might spot in your office or kitchen such as a vinyl chair or a plastic salad bowl. Light is used to help create the feeling of movement in each piece. The exhibition can be found in Gallery 2. It is on display from the 24th of July until the 20th of January and open daily from 10am - 6pm on Monday to Friday and from 9.30am - 6pm on Saturday and Sunday.
