Did you make your own cooking show in your kitchen when you were a kid, or maybe you still do today? Do you like to watch Masterchef and My Kitchen rules? Feel devotion to the wisdom of Jamie Oliver? If so, this is the Fringe show for you.

Experience
With Motown playing as you enter the relaxed space of a suburban garage, you are handed cards to fill out with questions. On a board, are the ingredients list for the night. You feel like you are on the set of My Kitchen Rules and the atmosphere is laid back and friendly. Once inside, the fun begins. I'd say for the audience more so, than for the poor chef. Structured on the guidelines of the Jamie Oliver training program, in how to cook delicious family meals in thirty minutes, there is no time to think in this kitchen, though all the thought in the world is required. This show is a proper competition. Audience scores are recorded and a different harried chef is tormented every night. It was an exhausting experience to watch the stress of cooking under pressure. I opted not to taste the result of a spoon but it definitely impresses how the multitasking mind can juggle so much under pressure and still achieve an edible, if ultra rushed, outcome. This was so much fun I'd happily attend more than once.

Requirements
-Be prepared to laugh and relax. The seating is a bit tight as a row of theatre seats don't usually squeeze into someone's kitchen.
-There was another entrance if the stairs are a problem.
-Bring a friend for added fun.
-Allergies can't really be catered for but there are three dishes, so there should be something on the menu you can taste.
-There is no pressure to do anything that makes you uncomfortable, so if you don't want to taste the food, it is no problem.

-The event begins at 7.30pm and just as if you were in the studio audience of a TV show, it would be too much of a disturbance to enter late, so please try to be on time.
-Don't come too early, no entry to the venue before 7.15pm.
-This is a private house, so please be respectful of the neighbours and keep your voices down.
-Tickets are selling out fast. It is because it is such a clever concept that I'll be looking for a rendition on TV someday soon.
-There is a detailed email with your ticket confirmation with ample info on how to get there without getting lost.

The Production Designers
Stage Mom have opened up their real kitchen to stage this competition, they even had to get a food handlers certificate to make it happen. They are a charismatic and imaginative couple and you can't help but feel grateful to them. This is such a cool idea that they have made possible for you to be part of.
