I Dreamed I Was A Mermaid

I Dreamed I was a Mermaid is a beautiful little board book, just made for young children who dream of becoming a mermaid, communicating with sea creatures and living in a world beneath the surface of the ocean.

This book was written and illustrated by Melissa Webb and contains a lovely poem about a little girl who is all tucked up in her cosy little bed and dreaming of being a mermaid with a glamorous shimmering tail who plays with her fishy friends, sings a magical siren song and even combs her long wavy hair with a beautiful pearly comb and would make a great bed time story.

The illustrations are absolutely wonderful, with big colourful pictures of the little girls imaginative mermaid dream that really strike a chord with anyone who ever dare to dream of being a mermaid.

The cover is beautifully drawn, depicting the little girl dreaming of being a mermaid, playing with a small school of fish and is tastefully covered in sparkly glitter.

Splitting Image and Budget Books Pty. Ltd printed me Dreamed I Was A Mermaid in 2007.
