I Don't Get It is a short collection of cartoons by Shannon Wheeler, whose work as appeared in the The New Yorker and The Onion. He is also the creator of Too Much Coffee Man as well as the Too Much Coffee Man Opera.

The book is divided into sections named after the five stages of grief; Denial, Anger, Bargaining, Depression and Acceptance. The cartoons are clever, offbeat, and often surreal. They remind me a little of Gary Larson's The Far Side.

It contains an introduction by "gentleman cartoonist" Keith Knight (of The Knight Life), who describes Wheeler as the Han Solo to his Lando Calrissian.

This book is a fun, quick read, ideal for a train ride, a work break or a can't-get-out-of-bed morning. If you enjoy it, you might also like The Ultimate Droodles Compendium , We Are Here Forever , or Sharky Malarky .
