Adelaide-based writer Lindsay Nightingale will facilitate the creation of a giant patchwork of poetry and prose in a series of free creative writing workshops titled I Am Adelaide , which will be held in the chapel at the Migration Museum from 1pm until 4.30pm on the following days: Saturday, 19 January, Sunday, 20 January, Thursday, 7 February and Friday, 8 February 2019.

I Am Adelaide is suitable for children and adults - bookings are not required: just drop-in and contribute short prose or poetry of your memories, experiences and feelings about the city of Adelaide by writing on recycled squares of fabric which will form a giant patchwork of creative expression for future generations to enjoy. Emphasis is on creativity and experimentation, rather than form.
